Frequently asked questions

What types of parts can be remanufactured?+
Virtually any mechanical, ornamental or functional part, as long as it fits in a box no larger than 1 metre per side. Gears, keys, brackets, decorative parts, scooter or motorbike parts, technical components of industrial equipment, prototypes for design offices… If in doubt, contact us for prior validation.
What's the lead time between order and delivery?+
Between 7 and 15 working days from receipt of the required elements (3D file, 2D drawing or physical part), depending on the manufacturing technology chosen, the part complexity and quantity. The exact lead time is shown in real time during the quote, before you validate your order.
What if the part rebuilt from my photos doesn't match exactly?+
You can enable the option to send the physical part for inspection. Once your quote is validated, we send you a prepaid shipping label. Your part is precisely measured on receipt, and if we detect a significant gap with the AI reconstruction, we contact you before manufacturing to adjust the quote with your agreement.
Are my CAD files confidential?+
Yes. All your files are stored on European servers (Frankfurt) compliant with GDPR. No file is shared with third parties outside the manufacturing workshops needed for your order, under signed confidentiality agreements. On request, we can sign a custom NDA before you send your files.
What if I have no 3D file, no drawing, no clear photo?+
You can send us your physical part directly. We scan it in-house, measure it, and offer you a quote based on this analysis. The initial lead time is slightly longer (count +3 days for shipping and scanning) but the result is just as precise.
How do you guarantee dimensional accuracy?+
For native 3D files (STEP, IGES, STL…), the accuracy is that of your source file: we use the exact geometry. For reconstructions from photos, we cross-check three sources (entered dimensions, AI model, weight × material density) with automatic inconsistency detection. In case of discrepancy, we alert you before manufacturing and offer physical shipping as a complement.
